Being Rude to a Customer

One way to kill a customer service experience to a customer is by being unkind to them. this can be done by even referring to them as their account rather than their name

Calling the customer by their preferred name draws their attention to the call and creates a friendly environment in which the customer feels accepted and heard. Referring to a customer by their account number, sounds like a rude way to call them. Some might say that it sounds robotic.

Another way through which a customer care provider can demonstrate rudeness to a customer is by using negative language. saying phrases like, 'I do not know' or 'that is not my fault' can be interpreted as rude by a customer on the line. Instead, a customer should be responded to with positive phrases such as, 'allow me to look into it' or 'let me transfer you to someone who could give you further assistance'. Being polite to a customer can encourage them to call back.
